COLOR COMBO {green & gold}

We are probably going to see many shades of green this year after the announcement that Emerald is Pantone's color of 2013. I don't know why it's so exciting to learn of this "color of the year" each year, especially since many colors make up new trends in the fashion and design world each season. But there's something very regal about jewel tones, especially when combined with gold or brass. I love the contrast of the gold faucets against the green tile, and this 1960's fashionistas ensemble is quite stunning with a shimmering gold pattern and gold beaded details around the sleeves.
