Prep Girl

I’ve always had a thing for the prep girl style, maybe it’s because I went to private school growing up or maybe because I love Clueless, who knows. Either way, I always find it to be a classic, feminine and chic look that can be easily put together by your staples in your closet.

I recently got this neoprene navy skirt from J BRAND and loved the fit. I liked the idea of an oversized white button down (from Banana Republic) falling over it and letting just a little peek out. As you know, it’s unbearably cold out today in New York and I constantly get yelled at by my readers for showing outfits that aren’t realistic. However, most of my outfits are realistic, I just don’t show them with my coat because then you can’t actually see the look. Whatever I post is usually covered with a massive puffer or heavy coat so that I don’t freeze my butt off, but for the blog, I know it would look ten times better without it, and in real life, ha.

Regardless, I was so happy to read every ones suggestions of what they want to see more of on my Instagram/blog. I am really taking it into consideration and I hope you guys notice the difference eventually! I also am going to work on shooting some more casual/affordable looks, as well as accessories and hair routine. I’m working on video ideas but I know that what everyone wants to see is how to put an outfit together. Baby steps!!! But I promise it’ll be done. Anyway, happy Monday and thank you so much for coming by and reading. MAKES MY DAY!!
