Beautiful weather and company

The past week was filled with beautiful weather and company! Brian’s sister and brother-in-law were here from Canada! I met my precious 8 month old niece, Lily. It was so wonderful to finally get to meet her. They also have a little boy who is 2. James and Riley had a blast playing in the backyard together. Brian’s parents also came to be part of the fun!

Brian’s dad is so sweet with Riley. They went on walks every day and have their own very special world.

We are enjoying the last little bit of beautiful weather before summer.

Last summer, I had to help Riley blow bubbles and not spill the container. This summer, he is a pro.

It’s amazing how much changes in one year, isn’t it?!

Going from a family of four to a family of six is keeping me on my toes, but I couldn’t be happier. God has blessed us so greatly.

I look over the last few years, since we’ve been in Arizona and I am amazed at the changes.

Our two year Arizona plan has turned into six wonderful years.

I’ve gone from working outside the home to blogging, photographing, and mothering full time.

I’ve gone from miscarriage and loss to an overflowing (and always out of juice) pantry. (How we go through five gallons of milk a week baffles me).

Mary Alice is now six weeks old. I feel fully recovered from the c-section (yay!).

My hat is off to everyone out there who has been through that. My recovery was completely different from a “normal” delivery. It was much more painful and slow. (Or maybe it is because I am 12 years older this time!).
