Today’s soundtrack is for Marisa. Here’s what Marisa had to say: “Our wedding is at the beginning of summer, set amongst beautiful bush landscape and beaches at an exclusive retreat where our immediate family of 16 guests are getting together whilst we tie the knot. The ceremony will be held outside under a tree, the pre-dinner drinks involves playing bocce, croquet and giant jenga whilst relaxing and listening to a couple of talented young girls playing the guitar and singing, followed by a dinner with lots of food and dancing. It has a very elegant and intimate feel. We need help with the dinner and dancing tunes please. For the dinner we are thinking laid back acoustic music, such as bob marley, john butler, jack Johnson, Xavier rudd, U2 etc and a couple of classics e.g Frank Sinatra. The biggest issue we are having is the music for dancing, we have very similar tastes when it comes to music and we both don’t want the traditional dance wedding songs. After looking through some of your dance playlists we would love a great upbeat mix consisting of beach tunes, old classics 50′s, 60′s, reggae and some newer tunes. Your help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.”
