I thought it would be fun to look at the PRIDE celebrations going on at Starbucks! Have a look and enjoy!
^ Those two pics are from the Starbucks on the corner of Pike and Broadway in Seattle. This beautiful store had its grand opening August 9, 2013. Sometimes you might notice a window cling at Starbucks with a bearded gentleman and the words “employment opportunity.” That bearded gentleman is the store manager of this Starbucks – “Mickey.”
^ This is the chalkboard art from Pine Street Starbucks in Seattle. Nicely done!
^ Those two photos are from First and Pike Starbucks in Seattle, which had its grand opening March 13, 2009. The three Starbucks partners are all wearing rainbow Pride flag pins on their aprons, which the store manager purchased for all her partners. I was trying to get the pins in the photo – Hope you can see them. And also, in the second photo, you can see the coffee Pike Place Special Reserve, which is not the same coffee as Pike Place Roast. This is one of only two stores that has that coffee. One more thing, the middle partner in the photo is wearing her ASU pin, Rachel pin (the mascot pig of Pike Place Market – Starbucks gives those pins to certain partners at 1912 Pike Place and 1st and Pike) and also the rainbow flag pin. Thank you for being game for the great pic!

^ This is the chalkboard sign at the Pacific Place Starbucks. It looks great! The store manager, Bryan, definitely is an artist. I’ve seen some of his other chalkboards over the years, and they all are so well done!

^ That’s the chalkboard found in the Starbucks at 328 – 15th East in Seattle. I still sometimes call this “15th Avenue Coffee and Tea,” from the era when it was once an experimental Starbucks. I absolutely still recommend visiting it. This Starbucks has a unique store design and a Simonelli espresso machine, which all harken back to its time as an experimental Starbucks.
