New Years Eve

I can't believe this is the final look of 2014.
That is so bizarre to think…
I felt like it was just yesterday where I was prepping my looks for Spring, my Birthday and NYFW.
This year has been eventful and full of so much love.
I definitely had many obstacles to overcome but overall it has been one of the greatest years of my life.
Not because everything was perfect but because I saw so much growth in myself.

For my second reflection I wanted to focus internally.
This blog in essence is a public diary, documenting my life and my style evolution.
And sometimes that is hard to do.
Putting yourself out there for people to judge and criticize has been a big challenge for me.
I have always been the type of person who wanted everyone's acceptance.
But I have learned that that is impossible to do.
For 2014 I tried instead to accept myself, to be proud of myself and all of my accomplishments.
I tend to look at the glass half full…
Especially in the blogging world where there are so many beautiful girls to compete with.
As this year ends I am stepping foot into 2015 with a positive attitude and mindset.
Anything is possible and I owe it to myself to give my dreams a try.

With that said, this look is my ode to New Years Eve.
I decided to do away with the sequins and pizazz
Opting for a dramatic full skirt paired with a casual everyday blouse.
Fluffy and super sexy sandals finish off this eccentric look.
2015 I'm ready for you!
