Spooky! It’s Friday the 13th! Do you guys get all freaked out and superstitious on days like this or do you think that’s just lame? I personally have found that Friday the 13th days are kind of lucky for me haha. I don’t know if it’s because I think they will be lucky that they are or what, but good things always seem to happen. Let me know in the comments if you get spooked or don’t care about it!

Anyway, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week! This week has been full of surprises for me This is actually a scheduled post because, at the moment you’re reading this, I’ll be at my FIRST EVER brand event. I’ve gotten invited to some in the past, but they’re always in New York and, as you know, I live in California so I haven’t been able to go so this is really exciting for me! The event is being hosted by NUDESTIX, a fairly new beauty brand which was founded by two aspiring models and sisters, Taylor and Ally Frankel. The brand utilizes a line of thick crayons to help your conceal, contour and lend color to your face which sounds like it’s a lot of fun so I’m excited to see how the event goes! I love roses, especially rose themed jewelry, and this adorable midi ring from Free People is so perfect for spring!

Obsessing over the idea of DIY shelves at the moment. Don’t they look awesome? I just love the idea that you can decide how high/low you want them to be and in what shape. I really like the idea of having corner hanging shelves as well – our new apartment is quite small so we need to use all the wall space to keep our space clear and open.

Kahina Giving Beauty recently came out with this Prickly Pear Seed Oil which just sounds divine! They’re already stocking it at The Detox Market which is a favorite online shop of mine right now. Although I do enjoy super complicated serums and face oils, it’s nice to use the simple ones at times, especially when it’s a particularly exotic plant oil and this one sounds really promising!

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of OTK boots and these red boots are so pretty, also from Free People, of course LOL. I’ve been trying to add more color to my wardrobe as I have a tendency toward monochromatic.

Spotted this kitchen setup on pinterest and I’m obsessing over the old fashioned ceramic cups and pitchers. I love the idea of a rustic kitchen theme! What style do you prefer for kitchen wares?

Josh Rosebrook is one green beauty brand I have yet to try and their non-nano Nutrient Day Cream from The Detox Market sounds SO amazing! I’m looking for a new sunscreen that can be worn under makeup and this seems perfect.

As you know, I like to stay active and do a lot of running on the treadmill and HIIT workouts so when I saw these moto leggings from Free People (again haha), I basically fell in love. Who doesn’t love cute workout gear?
