Crispy chips made from wonton noodles topped with a creamy alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, and any other topping you desire... these are the makings of a delicious dish!
Italian Nachos...

It really is a simple recipe - no fuss, and perfect for a party, movie night, or just to splurge!

(Makes enough for a party tray, or several individual servings. Top chips to your preference.)
Ingredients:
2 cups oil for frying (I use vegetable oil) Wonton Noodles (pulled apart & cut into triangles) Mozarella Cheese (3 cups shredded) Alfredo Sauce (16 oz, your choice) 1 lb Italian Sausage, browned Toppings, your choice (We used black olives, diced artichokes, sliced banana peppers, etc)
-Heat oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit in a deep sauté pan. Drop wonton noodles in, one at a time, browning, slightly. -Drain oil from wonton chips, by placing them on a dish with paper towel to absorb oil. -Warm alfredo sauce on the stovetop in a small saucepan, on low. -Begin layering nachos, chips first, then alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, and other toppings of your choice...
Enjoy!
