That Awkward Moment, When....

...You return to your blog after 7 months.
I almost feel like I should introduce myself, again. I'm not gonna lie though, y'all.... things have been busy! But, that's life, huh?! Everyone is busy in their own way, and we can use it as an excuse to put things off, or we can pull up the boot straps and forge ahead.
I'm gonna start trying to forge... a little bit better, I hope.

I've got so much to tell you.... I feel like we are friends who haven't chatted in a while. We actually are, huh? I missed so much! Holidays, birthdays, fun moments with friends and family... moments that I wanted to run straight to the computer to tell you about, that fell by the wayside when monotonous tasks reared their heads.
I've tossed around ideas for the ole' blog... I've even considered wiping her clean and starting fresh with a whole new name, look, etc. I just can't bring myself to do it (despite the fact that I even purchased an additional domain for the new site). I may add to and change a bit in the near future, just to try to rekindle the "newness" of Stringtown Home, and I may keep her like she is (after all, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"), and just create an additional site. I may just stick with Stringtown Home, as she is, no additional responsibilities, no additional sites. I have to admit, I'm probably going to adhere to the latter of the choices, as that just seems to be wise in the midst of my craziness.
Regardless, it is good to be home, y'all! Stringtown Home has been so near and dear to me, for so long... I'm so sorry I've neglected it.
