P.U.S.H.

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380!
It's Friday...(insert happy dance here)! And, I'm happy to say that I had a chance to create something for this Friday's Friends With Flair going on over at the Unity Stamps Blog....

For this project, I started with a 6X6 canvas and painted it black. Once it dried I distressed the edges just a tiny bit so that the white would show through in a few places.
Next I created a mat from some bright, hot pink cardstock. I distressed the edges and spritzed the mat with "White Linen" Ink Spray by Dylusions.

I stamped this wonderful sentiment by Stephanie Ackerman onto some X-Press paper and colored it in with Copic Markers. You can't really tell in this photo, but I added a touch of clear glitter using a Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to the heart. It really adds a pretty sparkle to this project. I also distressed and inked up the edges of my sentiment and added it to the pink mat using dimensional foam tape.

To finish things up I added some jute twine and a pretty daisy with a button center. I really like the way this turned out and I love the sentiment!
