It’s Hot Here and Some Expo Pictures

I try not to take pictures at race expos, but then I always end up taking just a couple because I get excited about little things. One of these days it’ll stop. Or not. Ha.

In my huge round up of all the protein bars I totally neglected this now Fit Elite protein bar.

It’s similar to the Quest Bars, but seems even softer. It’s smaller though too, but the taste is darn delicious.

Those chocolate chunks though.

I had been dreading going to Costco for like three months and finally took the plunge the other night after I taught spin. It was damaging and I really think I’m still recovering.

I could barely see over and maneuver the car by the end. Obviously when I got home I realized I forgot cat litter. I hate that.

I actually got up and went for a run with a friend yesterday morning. I rarely run with friends so it was so fun. I hit up the gym afterwards for just a couple machines. The first one was this beauty.

It was a scorcher yesterday and it’s supposed to be super hot again today and tomorrow.

I’m not really looking forward to running 13.1 miles in the heat, but we’re going to give it a go anyway.

The boys took one for the team and hit up the AFC Half expo with me yesterday afternoon. They were thrilled.

My most favorite running sunglasses ever by Active Pacific were there.

I can’t say enough good things about these glasses and have a handful of pairs. They are so reasonable priced and super light and never fog up unlike my expensive sunglasses. I’m sticking to these especially for running and racing.

They have a new website and some new designs that just came out. I’m pumped.

The expo was small, but we got a quick glimpse of another race on the horizon.

The Long Beach Marathon is going to be here before we know it. Holy smokes.

The boys are always on the lookout for snacks so luckily we spotted the Larabar booth on the way out. The snack size bars are so darn cute.

Obviously we stopped at the Halo booth. The boys pretty much run there every time.

Since I was decked out in my camo Handful bra (trying to impress Joaquin because he’s all about anything camo) I picked up a slim campo headband. Ha.

Oh and that shirt. Isn’t it funny? It might be my favorite Run With Perseverance one yet.

We’ll see what Sunday has in store. I have no goals except to finish without collapsing from the heat. That seems doable, yes?
