Michelle Obama Wears Jason Wu to Inaugural Ball 2013

In 2009, First Lady Michelle Obama, chose to wear a Jason Wu white dress to the inaugural ball. Well she’s done it again this year for her husband’s introduction to the second term of his Presidency.

This time she chose a floor length red dress paired with Jimmy Choo heels and Kimberley McDonald jewellery. The fashionable first lady has been seen wearing stylish American brands such as Tracy Reese, chain store J. Crew, Thakoon and Thom Browne.

Jason Wu tells WWD: ”After four years in office, I thought the country was ready to see a confident First Lady in red. It just felt right.” The American designer tweeted “#inshock” when he saw Michelle Obama in one of his own designs.
