The Dress for Every Occasion.

I’ve turned a new page in my life of late. I’ve embraced dresses. Especially the drop waisted floaty kind. I favour comfort and simplicity over a dress where you can see me digesting my food, as I’m eating it. This is classic and so easy to wear.

I think I particularly love a dress because I get to wear my sneakers with them. As I do with nearly everything.

I’m getting off track. The reason I wanted to feature this frock because it is so functional. My first wear was to the opening night of Frame, Sydney Dance Company’s latest production. And I loved it. The dress. And the dance. I felt a bit fancy pants as I hadn’t worn a dress for a while and loved how it felt. So much so when I woke up the next morning I put it on again. I had meetings, then a quick lunch with a client and then i had to pick up my girls from school. There was no chance in Nebraska that i was wearing heels all day so grabbed my sneakers. And voila, dressed up with heels or dressed down with my Converse. This Alice McCall number is frocking fantastic.
