weekend in flavour bliss alam sutera

As a resident of Jakarta, sometimes I feel that one of the activity that is best for weekend is to try out new restaurants with fellow girl friends. Honestly, sometimes i feel the need to get a little getaway from the bustling capital city. When I feel Bandung is a bit too far (not too mention its traffic jam), I feel that little getaway could be Tangerang or Alam Sutera. I haven't been here for quite some time, but feel glad that there are more and more restaurants are sprouting, especially in Flavor Bliss.

These photos were shot at Zoom Palace, a cool hangout place - usually become the meeting headquarter of Harley Davidson community in Jakarta. I love how to outdoor balcony gives a nice view and (of course) being a great location for the photoshoot. And yes, one of the reason i love Flavor Bliss is probably they have many nice places for my photo shoot ! well a blogger, being blogger sometimes I do decide on a hangout place where I could get a nice outfit photos. Recommended for fellow women blogger ;)

Guess Jakarta, need to have more outdoor place like this. It feels good here, maybe because Alam Sutera does not have as much pollution as in Jakarta itself.

With 6.5 ha of land filled with 30 food outlets, fashion, and family entertainment facilities, Flavor Bliss has raised its name since 2009. As a unique concept of destination, it caters not only for residents around it but also for people from neighbouring city (Jakarta, Bogor, etc). It is located very near to Jalan Raya Serpong 50 minutes drive by Lingkar luar driveway from Jakarta or 20 minutes from BSD. With approximately up to 25000 visitors in weekend, i am glad that it has spacious parking lot.
It really has extensive choices of f&b; western, chinese, indonesian you name it. Some of the restaurants available are Bandar Djakarta, Stevan Meat Shop, Sushi Tei, Nanny's Pavillon, Warung Tekko, Pisa Cafe, Warung Rawit, Ikkudo Ichi, Pho 24, Imperial Lamian, etc. You can also find karaoke place, futsal field, paintball space (totally would love to try) and Grande Factory Outlet (yes, you don't need to go all the way to Bandung anymore.)

I had a chance to try Stevan Meat Shop for dinner with Anita and Eva. The photos above is their Grandma Steak - well done. I love how it has tender texture and the sauce is great too. My fellow friends got the Wagyu burger. Better than my expectation i might say! Besides restaurant, they also sell raw meat and cooking ingredient on the first floor. Expect to find imported ingredients from this one stop meat shop.

Second store, that intrigued me is this Chocomory store. Originated from the Cimory store in Puncak area selling dairy goods (milk, yogurt), now they expand into chocolate making. I brought home their chocolate snack in different flavours. Not a huge fan of snacking, but i must say i might probably go here again and grab some more. Plus they have really attractive packaging.

With all the extensive restaurant to choose Flavor Bliss is definitely being the hip place for women gathering in my to-go list. So have you ever visited Flavor Bliss? What do you think ?
