It’s been over a week since I made a previous post.. as my MacBook had to be fixed (I’m so happy I have you back now. I couldn’t do almost anything without you..!) It happened right after we came back from our road trip to up North. Last year we went to Hearst Castle, this time we decided to drive up to San Francisco. The main reason was to see Big Sur..!

久しぶりの更新になってしまった.. 先週末２周年記念のお祝いにサンフランシスコまで車で行って、帰ってきた翌日マックが壊れ5日間修理に出してました。。 去年はHearst Castleに行ったので同じ方面だけど、今度はBig Surと言う海岸通りが続く絶景の場所に行きたくてもっと北まで行く事に。LA からPCH (Pacific Coast Highway)と言う海岸通りをひたすら上がって行きます

After staying a hotel in San Simeon, we started driving up to North. So glad it stopped raining. First stop was Friends of Elephant. Omar told me we can see seals, but I didn’t expect this many!

San Simeonと言う町に一泊して次の日の朝から北へ。前日は大雨でこの日も雨予報だったけど晴れてくれて良かった! ホテルを出て20分位のとこにあるFriends of Elephantと言う野生アザラシが沢山いる所へ。まさかこんなにいるとは。。!

These photos are from Julia Pfeiffer State Park. When looking down an iconic Mcway waterfall, one lady came up to us and said “You guys are so cute” and took a picture of us from behind :) No one allows to go down to the beach, it remains so clean and looks beyond beautiful.

更に数時間ドライブした所にあるJulia Pfeiffer State Park。Mcway waterfallと言う滝が有名で誰も下のビーチには降りれないので凄く綺麗なまま。オマーと滝を見てたら観光してた方がSo cuteと言って滝を見てる姿を写真に撮ってくれました。貴重な2ショット

滝の反対側にはトレイルがあって森の中を少しハイキング。

Around sunset time. It was the most gorgeous drive I’d ever had..!
Big Surのほぼ終わりの辺り。サンセットゆっくり見たかったけどまだSFまで 数時間はあるのですぐ出発。

The view over PCH was beyond amazing and I really recommend you drive up/down to Big Sur if you have chance!

アメリカに来て間もない頃誰かにBig Surの事を聞いて以来、今回始めて行けたけどこんな広大な海岸通りが何時間も続く場所は始めてで今まで見た景色の中でもトップ3に入る位素敵な所でした。長時間ドライブだけど機会があれば是非お勧め !です
