A Heavenly White & Gold Nursery
Confession time. Actually, I’m confessing before the crime. Because I admitting to all of you that when little ones come onto my horizon, I will be copying every little detail of this absolutely perfect nursery. Every detail. I couldn’t love it more if I tried, and these images from Elsy Photography explain why.
Decorating a nursery for Leila was something that was so special to me. My inspiration came from a verse in Revelation that briefly describes Heaven. “The street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.” Having a child is the closest thing I could imagine to having a little piece of Heaven on earth. I wanted her nursery to look pure and full of light. My hope is that one day Leila will look back at the pictures of her nursery and see how excited we were for her arrival. Picking out details with friends and helping my husband put up shelves were all fun memories we made as we eagerly waited. Each day that we worked on her nursery was one day closer to the day we got to meet our precious baby girl.
