Spring and summer are beautiful seasons that offer a large variety of foliage and flowers that may grow in your own backyard or garden. We incorporated foraged elements such as grasses, flowering branches, garden roses, tulips, and leafy foliage to add an abundance of fresh textures. We also used seasonal blooms such as fluffy peonies, sweet pea, and ranunculus which can be purchased from your local florist.

  • A vessel
  • leafy foliage
  • flowering branches
  • tulips
  • peonies
  • garden roses
  • clippers

Choose a vessel – we used a ceramic cookie jar.

Create a foundation and using some foliage and flowering branches. This will help hold your flowers in place in the following steps. We used eucalyptus and spirea.

Start adding in your larger blooms first such as peonies and garden roses.

Enhance the oblong shape by adding in some taller stalky flowers. We used tulips and left the foliage on to help create a lush look.

Last step – add in your smaller novelty blooms and any other accents your may have. We added in ranucnulus, sweet pea, and our foraged grasses.
