From Grandma with Love // Orange Dress

Photography by Angie Garcia

Happy Wednesday my dear friends! Happy Hump Day! Hope your week is going well. I’ve been trying to “get organized” as usual and things are happening at a slow pace over here. Any recommendations on how to organize your vanity?! I’d love to hear it. My space has become a make up-slash-dump my jewely-slash-coffee bar-drop off site and it’s kind of scary!

Anyhow, I’m excited about this week’s From Grandma with Love dress! It’s super bright and super orange, which is perfect for Spring! It’s a little big so the back sash actually hits right at my bum area instead of the waist. Luckily, I don’t have much of one so it just hangs there. LOL! The style reminds me of a flapper-ish dress because of the dropped waist and knee skimming hemline.

A colorful necklace {you know I’m a huge fan of anything with animals – who doesn’t need a pair of parrot earrings!} and sandals were a fun match for the simple dress. I decided on a neutral bag to bring the the look together.

The Style Rx: Statement pieces like a necklace and/or heels really stand out against a dress with simple or classic lines. Showcase one or all of your fun accessories! Choosing accessories in the same color family will help keep your outfit cohesive.

Alrighty y’all… have to get back to “organizing”! See you soon!
