Dressing Up the Jogger Pants

Yes, those are jogger pants. Yes, I've succumbed to the trend. Yes, I get lazier as the week progresses. And YES, I have no regrets.

As I count down the days to casual Friday, I get more and more attracted to the slouchy pieces in my closet. My main piece being these jogger pants from Forever 21, which I got during their end-of-season sale, and as it turns out, it wasn't part of the sale. But I was much too in love with it by the time I got to the checkout counter, that I didn't put it back on the rack anymore.

It's just one of those days when you need your legs covered but don't feel like partaking in a battle of legs versus skinny jeans. So even if it's just Thursday, I decided to throw these on anyway. Balanced out the look with a fitted Cleopatra-esque top from Alla Moda Thrift Shop and stepped into a pair of platform heels that I haven't worn in a while.

To make it more acceptable in the workplace, I threw on a blazer while inside the office. Talk about working in your sweatpants!
