Best Of NYFW Fall 2015 #1

NARCISO RODRIGUEZ - Pure, that wast the first word that came out of my mouth when I saw Narciso Rodriguez's Fall 2015 collection which was largely inspired by Maharaja — the traditional dress of Indian rulers. But instead of adorning his clothes with extravagant embroidery and extreme decorations, what he did was the opposite of it — no embroidery, regal colors and all that extravagant decorations — and the result . . . a sublime, timeless collection that every woman would love to have in their wardrobe.

BCBC BY MAX AZRIA - It was all about layering at BCBG Max Azria this Fall 2015. Offerings include over-sized coats and turtle necks, over-the-knee boots and capes with beautiful embroidery and patchwork, inspired by Max Azria's recent travels from Barcelona to the shores of Baltic Sea.

JASON WU - Strong and seductive would probably be the best way to describe Jason Wu's Fall 2015 collection. I don't know about you but for me, everything in this collection is just so perfect. The use of luxe fabrics, precision tailoring and the amount of skin that was shown. I especially love the navy blue silk jumpsuit with fox stole over the shoulder. . . it feels very sexy and at the same time, glamorous.

WES GORDON - It was all about clean, confident, streamlined silhouette with an ease at Wes Gordon this Fall 2015. Inspired by the 90's era, the collection was opened by a long, tailored over-sized coat followed by a sea of minimalist (mostly in grey) pieces. As the show went on, pieces with dark floral prints also went down the runway — all paired with a very refined combat boots made by Manolo Blahnik. Honestly, what's not to love from his collection? NADA.

JONATHAN SIMKHAI - It was all about pushing the pedal to the metal — go hard or go home said the designer backstage talking about his first runway show. Inspired by high-adrenaline car racing, tires and the whole nature of the sport, Jonathan Simkhai's collection is all about sexy, youthful and sporty pieces perfect for the modern and fearless woman.
