Be My Valentine

I realize that Valentine's Day isn't everyone's favorite holiday of the year, but there's something about all of the love in the air (and my obsession with hearts) that makes me get all giddy for it. Ollie and I usually take it pretty easy on Valentine's Day, but I still like to get dressed up and get into the spirit of this day of love. We will usually make dinner at home and maybe watch a movie so a cute dress like is is absolutely perfect for it.

But don't feel bad if you aren't currently in a relationship or you're going through a rough patch in yours -- I recently heard a very convincing argument as to why Valentine's Day is actually for singles and I truly couldn't agree more. It is the perfect time to go out with your friends and have a super fun night out on the town. It could be in hopes of meeting that special someone, or to just celebrate being single and free. And as you can tell by the description of my night above -- once you are in a relationship, the day isn't quite as exciting. But then again, I wouldn't have it any other way.
