.:Christmas Carol Mad Libs - Spool and Spoon:.

Hey ladies! Guess who? It's Jess from Spool and Spoon -- I'm back to share your monthly dose of printable happiness! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving :) I am thrilled that it's finally Christmastime! In honor of the holiday season, I put together a couple of printable mad lib sheets that are guaranteed to induce laughter all while teaching your little ones some basic English language skills. Win, win!
Rather than silly stories, how about flipping some good ole Christmas carols upside down.
Simply click here to view the PDF which contains all FIVE mad libs. The whole set will print on only three pages!
This is an activity best done with two or more people -- without telling the story, one person asks another to provide a word that matches the blank. Then, after writing each one in, they read the story together. Just imagine the fun :)
If you're not familiar with mad libs -- let's just say that they are awesome. I can remember way back in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade just *dying with laughter* when we would do these during free time and on the bus ride to and from school. These are great for school-aged children who are learning the different parts of speech (noun, verb, pronoun, adjective, adverb, etc.) but are just as great for the younger kids who have help from an older sibling or you!

Merry Christmas - Happy Hanukkah - Happy New Year!
