Bundle Monster Secret Garden Collection (Part 1 of 5)

The Bundle Monster Secret Garden Collection includes 25 nail-stamping plates that feature designs that span the entire plate.

Not only does it better utilize the space on the plate, but it also means that you have lots of creative options.

You could stamp using the same section for a manicure that’s uniform, or you could mix and match designs. Alternatively, you can have a manicure with a cohesive theme using the same plate, but stamp a different section onto each nail to give it a more artisan feel.

In this post, I show you a quick look at Bundle Monster nail-stamping plates BM-701 through BM-705. This is Part 1 of 5, and I hope that you like these ‘bite-sized’ posts.

The five Bundle Monster Secret Garden Collection nail-stamping plates in Part 1 of 5 are:

  • BM-701
  • BM-702
  • BM-703
  • BM-704
  • BM-705

The full 25-plate set retails for $20.50 USD on Bundle Monster’s website.

I love the blossoms on Bundle Monster Secret Garden BM-701, especially the daisies on the upper right. (I’m thinking about incorporating that into a nail look. It’s been a while since I’ve done nail stamping, but I’m going to get back into it because it’s fast and easy.)

The little keys are such a cute touch, and you could also use them in a love-themed nail design for the “key to your heart”.

From the Bundle Monster Secret Garden BM-702 plate, the strawberries caught my eye immediately.

As a child growing up in the 1980s, Strawberry Shortcake was popular. I had one small figurine of her, which I cherished because money was extremely tight when I was growing up, and my parents couldn’t afford to buy me many toys. It meant that whenever I got something, I treated it like a prized possession because it was worth more than its monetary value.

In 2011, I painted freehand Strawberry Nails, and I think it would be adorable to do that on some nails and then stamp on some of these strawberries. (May need to try that sometime.)

You can’t have a secret garden without an old wooden door and lots of ivy, right?

The Bundle Monster Secret Garden BM-703 plate has those and more! The swirly, whimsical pattern on the upper left is so fun! And the star design on the bottom left could be magical over a dark, glittery navy.

Bundle Monster Secret Garden BM-704 is an artistic masterpiece!

Even when I was a little kid, I loved to write. One of my favourite things to do was to look at a random picture and then challenge myself to write a short story based on it.

This Bundle Monster plate is exactly the kind of image that I would’ve loved to write a story about because it fuels your imagination.

You know that I love Bundle Monster Secret Garden BM-705, right? The pen is far mightier than the sword, and having an entire manicure filled with words is something that makes me feel giddy!

You could use this plate to create a newspaper nail-art effect without going through the hassle of the traditional method with rubbing alcohol like the Archie Comics Nail Art I did back in 2011.

If you’re new to using Bundle Monster nail-stamping plates, here’s a look at the paper backing. It makes the plate easier to work with and not sharp.

Also, remember that before you use these plates, peel off the transparent-blue film on the front. If you don’t, you won’t be able to transfer your image onto your stamper.

In 2011, I created a step-by-step nail-stamping tutorial from a beginner’s perspective. It outlines the process, some tips and problems I encountered along the way, and photos, so you can see how it’s done by an amateur. Hope that helps!

I couldn’t find the Bundle Monster Secret Garden Collection on Nail Polish Canada’s website at the time I wrote this post, but they have other collections and individual plates available, if you’re interested. (It’s possible that they’ll carry the Secret Garden Collection later.)

Which Bundle Monster Secret Garden nail-stamping plate is your favourite? Which designs would you combine for a cohesive manicure? Do you have any nail-stamping tips that you’d like to share?
