What's In My Bag?!
Finally! A 'What's in my bag?' post! I loved watching these on YouTube and over the past year I've had requests for a blog post on whats in my bag! In all honesty, I thought "there's no way they wanna see inside my handbag!" My handbags are not super clean or neat but I thought it'd be fun what things I do intentionally carry in my purses & why! Sidenote, Fitz acts like he doesn't like to be on camera but anytime we are taking photos he always finds a way to sneak in... (^see his paw at the top of that first image!)
DRESS | SANDALS | LIPS: 'Cotton Candy' 'Rio' | WATCH
HANDBAG: I'm carrying the Louis Vuitton Neverful GM. I usually like the MM size but for traveling I decided to try the GM and love it. I do end up carrying it quite a bit but it's definitely not filled up by any means. It's great for travel or day-to-day. (I will do a comparison of my tote bags soon so you can see!)
If you are looking to purchase a dupe, I think THIS handbag resembles mine but is under $200! Or you could purchase THIS tote - its around the same size as the MM and its gorgeous (& comes in many colors)! I used to have the pink version!
LAPTOP: I have the little Macbook in gold right now. It's very small and lightweight which is why we purchased it. It fits into almost all of my handbags shockingly and does not weigh it down at all. John noticed that I was constantly needing to do something on my computer at the most inconvenient times.. like on the way to dinner, out running errands, etc. So we ended up deciding on this little laptop bc its not a hassle to take places. It's definitely small so its not the best for working on it while I'm on trips but I do like that its lightweight.
WALLET: I'm all about having an organized wallet. I like for everything to have its own place. I can't do small wallets or wallets that are hard to work with haha. Sounds random but its a personal thing. This Prada wallet is perfect for me because it has lots of compartments and slots for everything and is easily accessible. I also love Tory Burch wallets! Something you'll notice is that I always have brighter colors wallets just because they are easier to see in a large handbag that is full of stuff.
KEYCHAIN: I'm so so so obsessed with Providence Story keychains! They are my favorite because they are huge and they are TOO cute. It's nice to be able to reach into my bag and grab my keys easily without having to rummage. It's a running joke with John bc he doesn't like keychains but anytime someone see my keychain they are always like "hey where's that from?!"
COSMETIC CASE: Again, I like for everything to have it's place. I always keep my lipliner, gloss, and lipstick color in my case as well as an extra mascara. (And chapsticks, bobby pins, & ponytail holders.) Before I had this Damier pattern case, I always used THESE. They hold up well and are also cute. :) Also I try to keep a rollerball or mini perfume in my handbag as well. Those always come in handy and I like having them when I travel.
IPHONE CASE: So I use the 6 Plus phone. I love having a huge phone since I'm working on it quite a bit & using it for photos. My favorite cases for my phone are HERE. They are the only cases that work for me because they are protective but not too bulky. And we always keep a glass screen protector on my phone so if I drop it the protector cracks and not the phone. *Highly recommend a glass cover.
PLANNER: Between blogging travels and collabs & John's residency schedule I'm dependent on a planner. I love this one from Daybooks. It's small but not too small and easy to throw into my handbags.
GLASSES: I have to wear glasses when I drive at night and when I am on my computer. My BFF in Tulsa is also my eye doctor so I got lucky and found these amazing Gucci glasses at her office. (People always ask the brand when they see them on Snapchat.) I also keep polarized sunglasses in my handbag for when I'm driving. (My only polarized ones are the silver Ray-Ban Aviators.)
