4 Second Chance at Love Stars!!
I totally fell in love with this couple and enjoyed their road to happiness. This book is a reminder that it's never to late in life to find love!! Jack is widower who's very sweet, has a hard edge when needed, and is a gentleman rancher with a hot, hard, toned body. At the age of sixty-three he's fallen in love for the second and last time in his life. Janet is an FBI agent in her mid 40's. She's been through a lot with an injury she received in the line of duty Striking Distance. She is still recovering and has not, nor may ever truly heal. Their romance starts slow, but once they give into their mutual attraction their passion is on fire...let's just say that Jack is a very, very, virile and attentive lover!!
We get a bit of Nate, Megan, and sweet Emily from Skin Deep, and there's a side story that I myself found to be a part of the book that was a bit slow. All in all, the romance and mystery side story were a bit predictable, but still totally worth the read. We are treated to a truly heartwarming story, and I'm so happy that Jack gets a second chance at love and readers get a great little epilogue!!!
Looking forward to more "I-Team" action with Holly's story Seduction Game, due to be released on October, 20th 2015!!!
