Motel Mexicola

On my last visit to Bali, I went to Motel Mexicola. The mid day visit is fully on purpose, to see the vibrant colours and to eat the tasty food for lunch (of course). It was a sunny day which brought out all the colours to life. I love Motel Mexicola for its interior, the Mexican atmosphere in that place is very strong. The blue is perfectly Mexican blue (if you know what I mean), the colours are clashing in the prettiest abstract I've ever seen. I never thought orange would look so good with electric blue. I looked to all details in the mural on the wall, I quickly realised that Mexican art is full of heart and floral. Love, love, love, they repeatedly draw heart and made pattern out of it. Motel Mexicola is an artsy place that fulfilled my colourful appetite perfectly.
It's a very strong contrast when it comes to the food. Sorry to say, the food is bland and unimpressive. I ordered an orange juice and I got an iced orange syrup. Of course I was expecting a fresh orange juice when they put an orange JUICE in the menu. The de queso quesadillas was just ok. I finished my de pollo taco (Rp 30k/small taco) in 3 bites. The chicken in the taco was bland. (insert one star emoji in this paragraph).
