DESERT DAYS

Good morning from Aruba! I’m here with my family enjoying a week of relaxation. The weather is perfect – not too hot and plenty of wind to make laying out enjoyable. I’m one of those people that gets settled into my chair and within ten minutes, the beating sun wins and I have to get up. The wind almost tricks me into thinking it’s not hot so I’m getting a nice tan.

Before I head to the beach with a piña colada, I wanted to share a little flashback from Coachella three weeks ago. I didn’t want to ‘play dress up’ at Coachella – as my friend Jess would say… but take my typical style and embrace the desert with a little something extra. In this outfit, I wore a cute and comfortable two-piece set with a palm print bag by Rebecca Minkoff. I would wear this outfit any day of the week but it was especially fitting to bring this cute bowler bag to the desert.

The beach is calling (or rather, my nephews are ready to go to the beach!)… but check back in the next day or so for the final recap of my Thailand experience in Krabi.
