MONOCHROMATIC

Day two of fashion week was almost unbearably cold! I had to strategize ways to tolerate it by walking in the sun if possible, hair over my numb ears and moving quicker just to generate heat. I wasn’t made for this kind of cold! My nose is actually red in these photos and my hands were as well. Oh, it wouldn’t be NYFW without some kind of extreme temps – whether freezing or too hot.

This monochromatic outfit was my look for day two. I really see blush tones being a major color for spring and this knit from Reiss is amazing – nice fit, zippers on the sides and it even has pockets. This cute-sized She Lo crossbody is my new go-to – it limits the amount of junk I can walk around with so that’s a plus! I loved walking around NY in this somewhat-boyish look.

It’s Oscar’s Sunday! I love the Oscars. I’m heading to a Vanity Fair Screening party later today where I’ll be able to watch with friends. My husband is in Ireland for work right now so we had to forgo our usual tradition of watching together… but, hey – how can you pass up a trip to Ireland?!

Have a good weekend!
