what was the spark that initiated your pursuit of this creative endeavor?

to be honest...i'm on many creative endeavors.
photography
jewelry making
painting
blogging
life. ;)
i can't really sum up one thing...so i'll just say that my life is in pursuit of creativity.

i would say...the spark was when i learned my brain processed just a tad differently than others.
i noticed the sun rays peeking through the branches, the ocean water bubbles collecting in sea shells, and the way peoples eyes sparkled when they talked about something they are passionate about. i knew then that my mind pulled even closer to the arts, to the beauty, to the unknown of the world and how things work. which, in and of itself, is hilarious because i'm so type-a and scheduled sometimes that you wouldn't envision me to be this little artistic soul i suppose (or maybe that is the way i view myself).

i know that my life isn't meant to be fulfilled sitting behind a desk all day (hello day job, love you and am thankful for you!)...so i find ways to supplement this edge God has given me. this edge to create, move and make things a little more joyful and complicated and weirder than they started ;) yes, i can at least admit to sometimes making things more complicated.

...and while i'm on the honest train, i'm not sure how this will end up looking.
will i one day be a full-time photographer?
will i make enough jewelry to sell for profit instead of fun? (HA)
will i one day pursue a writing avenue for books, bible studies, etc?
i'm not sure.
and at 26 i've learned it is ok to not have everything in perfect order.
in fact, change is a natural part of life that can be really beautiful if it is embraced.

i have dreams of trying many, many different avenues and seeing where they end up.
i'm really interested to see where all of these paths lead and what the Lord has in store at the end.
...and i am even more thrilled if at the end of this journey the only thing God really wanted me to find was how beautifully creative He is and how i was able to capture just a glimpse of it.
