August Favorites

I know I am VERY late in the game to post my August favorites. I contemplated waiting and posting August and September favorites together; however I have been using so many new products recently that I just know I will have a ton more products to claim as favorites in September. Even though its almost October, lets pretend that this month is already almost over.

Purifying Mask, Que Bella - I bought this because is has both tea tree oil and witch hazel which are two natural ingredients that work really well on my breakouts. I love the way it left my skin feeling and one packet lasted all month long. For $1.97 I got about 3 or 4 uses out of it.

Refining Mask, Proactiv - I have used Proactiv off and on for years. This mask usually comes as a free gift with a 30 day supply. In the past I have used it as a drying mask, but this month I really liked it as an overnight spot treatment.

Grandiose Mascara, Lancome - This mascara has holy grail potential. The curved wand really gives me a great angle to coat every last lash. It makes my lashes so voluminous and long. It may just be my favorite mascara ever!

Eye Duty Triple Remedy, First Aid Beauty - I like to use this in the morning. The metal tip gives a nice cooling effect on my eyes and the product itself is slightly pinkish so it really conceals my dark circles.

Bright Eyed & Beautified Eye Enhancing Tool, Tarte - This has been discontinued for some time and I really wanted it when it originally came out but missed my chance. I was able to pick one up recently when Tarte was featured on Hatuelook. It is the similar to the Michael Todd Eye-o-sonic Eye Serum Infuser, which I also have. This has a nice shape and size for my under eye area. Plus, I have started using the Michael Todd tool for my lips.

Brow Pencil, Sumita - I love this brow pencil. Its not overly waxy like some brow pencils, and I really like that it is retractable.

Cream Eye Shadow Brush, Antonym Cosmetics - I had been applying my cream shadow all wrong until I found this brush. I always thought a brush would make cream almost impossible and messy to apply but it is just the opposite. This brush gives me much more control over the application.

Anti-Aging Moisturizer Broad Spectrum with SPF 20, Murad - I have recently started working with Murad as a brand ambassador and have had the opportunity to sample many of their products. I love this moisturizer because it is not only for acne-prone skin but is also anti-aging. It is works well to combat any dry patches without being greasy or causing any breakouts, and it absorbs so well.

Time Release Acne Cleanser, Murad - This is another product that Murad sent me to try. I have been using this in the morning. I love that like the Anti-Aging Moisturizer this minimizes the signs of aging . . . and when your my age and still have acne, you know how important that it. This cleanser also has time release properties so it continues to treat your skin throughout the day.
