BE OUR GUEST: BROW RE-SHAPING

Written by Sophia Flores, Graphic Design by Eunice Chun

Today’s guest post comes to you from my colleague Sophia Flores, whom you might recognize because she also models for us on occasion. Take it away, Sophia!

Sometimes one subtle change to our brows can balance out the entire face. A common area that needs lifting is the bottom base of the brow, and by doing so, you create a longer and softer look. And the great thing about using a razor is you shouldn’t get ingrown hair since you are not tweezing or waxing out the hair follicle. Also your hair grows back much quicker if you decide to change the shape of your brow and create another look.

TOOLS:

STEPS:

  1. Start at the bottom base of the brow and place the teeth of the razor in between the 1st row of eye brow hairs.
  2. Shave downwards by rotating the razor as shown above.
  3. Trim each row of brow hair a little at a time for full control and until you achieve a softer more balanced brow.
  4. Follow by tweezing unwanted hairs that aren’t attached to the brow itself (in between the eyes, along the brow bone).
  5. Fill in your brows with a matte brow powder according to your natural brow color to define your brows and recreate shape if needed.
