Juggling the Jungle
Hello from Davao City! Today my sister Jack and I are here to launch another set of young style setters from this fashionable end of the Philippines. We flew in this morning, just in time to set everything up for the big reveal a few hours ago (which explains why I’m posting soooo late!) Can’t wait to show you who we chose and all the fun we had at our shopping party! (But those will have to wait til I get the chance to edit the hundred something photos on my cam!)
For now, here’s an outdoorsy outfit shot of me taken by my super cool mom. She loves taking photos for my blog, and even instructs me on how to pose sometimes! If you see her behind the scenes one day, you’ll surely agree that she’s the cutest mom-ager ever!
I was feeling a bit rugged, so I decided to wear a wild one-piece as a top and scrunch the look up with an army green vest. Of course, I never go full out when it comes to themed looks, so I kept it “me” with a sexy pair of pumps and casual plain shorts. I find it easiest to rock trends by keeping the new pieces at a minimum and still dressing to fit your personal style. Of course, this isn’t always the case, as you can rock any look you feel good in. But for starters, sticking to your own look with a pop of what’s new this season always gives the right impression of “I have impeccable style, and I know what’s hot right now, but I don’t let trends dictate what I wear. I wear what I want to wear.” (If that makes any sense at all!)
Loving how comfortable my outfit turned out to be, especially since my suit skimmed my torso perfectly and was stretchy enough to support my physical activities for the day! If you’re running low on tops, try rocking a run leotard or swimsuit as a tank!
