That’s the Pointe
I’ve always been inspired by Ballerina fashion, since I’ve been a dancer for most parts of my life, but it’s always been the tulle, lace and ribbons kind of love. This time, I’m taking inspiration from one of the main things that give ballerinas their beautiful lines- the Pointe shoes!
Ever since I started dancing ballet, I’ve always dreamed of owning a pair of red pointes and dancing with them ala “Center Stage.” I never got to do that, but here’s my chance to rock red pointes the best way I know how today- through dressing up! Playing dress up is still fun, even after all these years, right? I made these high heeled shoes the center of my look by wearing denim basics with it. It also gave a more rugged and modern feel to an otherwise girly inspiration!
