Bright Blog Bash Holiday Party
Katie from Twin Stripe and Susannah from Feast & West hosted a beautiful holiday bash. Read on to see the lovely details that made up this festive holiday get together!
There’s nothing better than kicking off the holiday season with friends and a good cocktail. Fellow blogger, Susannah of Feast West, and I teamed up to throw the ultimate blogger bash.
We loved Tiny Prints ‘Stirring Spirits’ invites and we used them as our inspiration for the color scheme – black, white and gold. To add a little bit of excitement to a party invitation, be sure to add confetti or sequins in your party colors.
I love decorating for the holidays. Our seven-foot North Carolina fraser fir was the center piece of the room – the white lights twinkled and candles glowed around the room. I also created cone trees for my mantel and added a wreath and greenery to fill it out.
I didn’t place too much on the coffee table because I knew my friends would want to set down their plates and glasses, but I added a few munchies and a stack of ‘Sheer Brilliance’ napkins complete with our hashtag – #brightblogbash.
Susannah and I served a whole table of seasonal goodies including cookies and cream popcorn, black and white cookies, a cheese plate and more.
We also created a champagne cocktail bar to quench our guest’s thirst. Susannah made sugar cubes in four flavors: Angostura bitters (slightly orange-flavored), lemon, rose and lavender. Everyone loved picking their flavors and making new combinations for their beverages.
As party favors, I made dip dye tote bags with matching tassels. I added a gift enclosure card to each tassel with the attendee’s name on it. These totes were filled to the brim with fun gifts.
Each blogger received their own personalized notepad, cookies, a candle and more.
One of my favorite gifts was Tiny Print’s acrylic block picture frame. It looks perfect on my desk!
