We took a few days off early this week, just to relax and have a good time. On Monday the gang and I went to Venice for the day. We walked along Abbot Kinney and the Venice Boardwalk, we sat on the beach, put our feet in the water, and ate some yummy food! It was exactly what we wanted in a day off.

In case you haven't heard the wonderful news but yesterday the Supreme Court ruled that both Prop 8 and DOMA were unconstitutional! When Prop 8 passed a few years back it was heartbreaking. On Wednesday morning both arnab and I were awake at 7 in the morning to hear the ruling and thankfully we heard some fantastic news! It's sad that the right to marry is even something people need to fight for and it would be amazing if same-sex marriages were legal all around the country, but this is still an amazing victory and a sign of hope for the future!!
