Directions

NOTE: For the first time using our product, we strongly recommend leaving the peel on your skin for only 1 minute. This is so you can see how your skin reacts, especially for sensitive skin types. If there is no adverse reaction after 48 hours, use peel normally per the instructions below.

We recommend doing peels in the evening, which allows your skin to repair itself overnight and for any redness to subside.

Step 1: Cleanse skin normally. Follow with an alcohol-based toner or rubbing alcohol (this removes any last traces of oil and makeup, allowing the peel to penetrate the upper layers of skin and do its job). But if you don’t have a toner handy, it’s ok – it’ll still work.

Step 2: Apply peel using finger tips. 1 to 1.5 droppers full should cover your face. Avoid eye area.

OPTIONAL As you become used to using this products and are comfortable with its effects on your skin, you may allow the first layer to dry (1-3 minutes) and apply a second layer of the Fruit Acid Peel for increased exfoliation.

Step 3: Let peel sit for 3-5 minutes, but no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with plenty of cool water. You may want to lightly cleanse skin with your favorite gentle cleanser to remove any last traces of the peel, but it’s not required.

If skin is very red and irritated, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to cool water and rinse face. It’s not required, but it feels nice!

Step 4: Pat gently dry, apply Restore Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cream.

Step 5: Use sunscreen daily while using this product.

Recommended for use 1-3 times per week.

Skin will be smoother and brighter after first application. After 4-6 weeks skin will have improved tone, diminished fine lines and pigmentation, scars will be less noticeable.

NOTE: Many people will not actually have visible sheets of skin peeling off (like after a sunburn), but merely experience redness and tingling/burning. It does not mean it didn’t “work”, that is normal.

Packaging
The bottle comes in a cardboard box with company and product information on it. The Peel comes in a glass cobalt blue bottle with a white dropper top that has a clear glass dropper. The label has product and company information on it.

Scent and formula
It’s a clear thing gel that smells very slightly vinegar-y and acid-y. It feels sticky on the skin.

I’ve been using this a couple of times a week for a few weeks now. This brightens my skin and tightens my pores, it makes my skin super smooth and soft and supple after using it. My acne scars(I get new ones frequently. ugh) appear to be lighter. I also noticed that for a couple of days after I use this my forehead and nose don’t get as oily. It doesn’t make my skin burn like some other peels have and it doesn’t make my skin super red after using it. It makes my skin a little tingly. I like it a lot and will continue using it. This has a pH of 2. They have a Rose Glow cleanser that has a pH of 6 that I want to try really bad. I really like this peel and I’ll be picking it up again when I’m able!
