#PEIBurgerLove – The Mardi Gras at Brit’s Fish and Chips

Happy Easter!

I had the chance to try out a second PEI Burger Love creation – this time at Brit’s Fish & Chips. I know, I know – I keep trying the restaurants that don’t specialize in burgers, but how could I say no to the Mardi Gras:

“9oz. Island Beef Patty Seasoned & Grilled, Remoulade Aioli, Spicy Ketchup, Swiss Cheese, Thinly Sliced Ham, Green Leaf Lettuce, Garlic Dill Pickles, Fresh Tomato, Red Onion, and Housemade Stacked Potato Crisps on a Toasted Whole Wheat Bun garnished with a Bacon Wrapped Scallop”

A bacon wrapped scallop for heaven’s sake! Noms. This one paired well with the Pumphouse lager.

What stuck out about this tasty treat was the crunchy texture provided by the matchstick potato crisps, as well as the spectacular garlic dill pickles. The burger as a whole had a classic taste, with just the right amount of sauce to make it pop. The patty was notably good; meeting my standards for taste and texture. This is a cohesive burger that will surely be a crowd-pleaser.

I’ve been to Brit’s on a number of occasions and always enjoyed their fantastic customer service. It’s a great place to grab an absolutely humongous serving of fish and chips with a laid-back British atmosphere.
