Where to Sleep:: Luxury Hotel in Copenhagen

While there are many great options, if you are looking for a true Luxury Hotel in Copenhagen, one of my personal favorites is the Nimb Hotel. This exclusive suite-only boutique hotel offers views over the lovely Tivoli Gardens and has a Moorish inspired facade with rooms that are decadent, inviting, and luxurious. Designed by architect and Tivoli director, Knud Arne Petersen, in 1909, Nimb also offers guests a piece of history along with it’s ideal location. With several tempting Nimb restaurants to choose from just steps away, options such as a butler and/or personal shopper guests are thoroughly pampered and only have to leave their little haven whenever it pleases them.

We suggest booking a room during the spring or summer when the Tivoli Gardens are the most beautiful and making a reservation at Nimb Terrace to experience Pastry Days, a weekend event where the chefs create a mouth watering array of pastries, cakes, tarts, and more. This special event and the other lovely Nimb restaurants are open to anyone, so if live in Copenhagen, you can still enjoy a piece of Nimb’s luxury experience… or you could always book a stay for a special night out with your spouse (a very tempting thought for those of us with kids!)
