DRESS TO IMPRESS
LACE IT UP FOR SUMMER Every woman knows this kind of situation when you just want to have a chilled out day lounging around in sweatpants and hoodie and running some errands and exactly on that day you meet someone you really want to impress by looking the best as you can. Well, I've definitely experienced these kind of situations a lot in my life and feel like I'm always meeting someone special when I'm having one of those chilled out days but oh well, we need to stay confident no matter how we're dressed! As I'm typing these last sentences a very famous quote pops up in my head and I'm sure you guys have already heard it before: ''Always dress like you're going to meet your worst enemy today.''
Now don't get me wrong, it's definitely not all about how you are dressed or how you look like but when it comes to this quote - it's so freaking true! If you're one of those persons who has a ton of amazing stuff in their closet but always chose the comfy sweats and hoodies, well, hang up this quote on your mirror or the door of your closet or anywhere else where you can see it while dressing and I promise you, you will think twice about your outfit choice.
I am totally honest with you - I am one of those persons (and I know it's such a shame as a fashion blogger) who ALWAYS prefer comfortable outfits which hasn't has to be always sweatpants and hoodie but a simple black leggings paired up with a casual abercrombie shirt is just as good. Of course I don't show you those outfits here on The Trendique but I'm thinking about bringing this kind of category on here where I show you some of those super casual and comfy chill out looks.
You ma have noticed that I'm wearing A LOT more dresses and skirts now and I have do admit that I absolutely enjoy it. I was never a dress person but now I'm totally into it and always looking out for cute new summer dresses or skirts. You know how much I love lace details, right? It is just so sexy and sophisticated looking and I think there's no better combination than a flower printed dress with some black lace details. I am so happy that I found this amazing dress for an incredible price - it's perfect.
I even think about pairing it for autumn days with some black tights which brings me to my next point: Always have some pieces in your closet which you can wear all year long and pairing them all differently depending on the weather. This dress is the perfect example: Imagine a typical autumn day wearing this dress, some black tights, knee high boots or some pumps and a leather jacket on top? I can totally see myself wearing this combination this upcoming autumn.
