Trends With Benefits Love Adorn!

Last week we were sent this delightful book and we couldn't wait to share it with you all. This is a perfect read for TWB and Kate and I have spend most evenings last week curled up on the sofa flipping through the inspiring pages trying to decide which DIY projects we wanted to try. Adorn is written by Kit Lee and Shini Park, both very talented fashion and DIY bloggers who have written a book filled with beautiful and elegant DIY fashion projects for all different abilities. I decided to give the chain strap cami a go! It took me about 15 minutes to complete and I think it looks really good. I've seen a lot of these of the high street, but I got a feeling of great achievement in making my own. I got my plain black cami from New Look (with student discount it turned out to be a very nice, low price!) and I got my gold chain and jump rings from Samuel Taylor's Haberdashery in Leeds.

I am hoping to make the leather lunch bag soon, so I'll make sure to show you all a picture when I get round to creating that beauty!!
