Happenings

This was one of those rare weekends where I was productive while also able to do a lot of leisurely or fun things. More often than not, I spend most of Saturday and Sunday trying to clean and do all the projects and then I feel on top of things but also sad that I missed out on all of the fun I could have had. On the weekends where I spend all day binge-watching some Netflix show or have tons of events to attend, I feel pretty worthless. We always want what we don’t have I suppose. Anyway, this weekend we helped Chris move into Megan’s house, got some stuff done around the house, and I went to see Phantom of the Opera which is only the best musical ever (I’m a little biased.) Just be glad you aren’t here to listen to me humming the score to myself. I can do a mean Christine Daae.

For those of you that follow me on instagram, you may have seen that I also started reading Girl on a Train. Yah I finished it. Like an hour after I got back from the musical on Saturday night. If you liked Gone Girl, then you would love this. And the characters are British which (to me) just makes it better.

I also started messing around with some art to figure out what I am going to do above my vanity. I’m thinking just a small vignette instead a whole full on gallery wall. How was y’alls weekend? Have any of you read Girl on a Train yet?
