Mixed Metals

This was supposed to be my outfit for Inspiration Monday at Two Birds. Yes, meaning this is the outfit I was inspired by. And I was. But I changed it up quite a bit. Or not at all. Nutso leopard harem pants are totally the same thing as skinny denim. Totally. I had a horrible, awful week last week, and honestly, things arent improving THAT much. I spent most of last week working on a final paper for my class. Im pretty sure I spent at least 20 hours on it, not including the 3 hours I spent throwing a tantrum because it was so bad (Im serious). Then, I FINALLY finished it and thus finished all work for the class, so I decided to look into the syllabi and stuff Ive been getting in my email regarding a week-long session Im scheduled to attend in June, which includes two 3-credit grad classes. The class assignments and requirements are crazy, and lets just say Im at a huge disadvantage because A) Im young (most students seem to be AT LEAST in their 30s), B) Im inexperienced, and C) Im not currently working in the field in which Im studying. So, needless to say, its quite hard to complete an assignment about your department when you dont actually have a department. Basically, not only is it impossible for me to do the assignment, even if I could, I dont think Id get much out of it. Im currently discussing the issue with my advisor and hopefully I can maybe lighten my course load to make it more bearable. And then Ill actually blog on a regular basis again, too. Maybe.
