Sweater coats are poised to be very on trend this fall, and while I’ve seen several really gorgeous styles, the pickings are still slim for those of us in the “petite” (5’4″ or under) size range. It’s easy to get swamped by the more voluminous styles. I’ve tracked down a few in response to a reader’s request. The one above from Eileen Fisher, may look like a cardigan from the online photo, but actually has a bit more “heft” and structure. It’s a winner for those who love tweed but not fussy, boxy or stodgy jackets. It would dress up or down beautifully, depending on what you pair it with.

Here are a few others that are available in Petite sizes. I’ll keep looking; as we get deeper into the Fall season, more may become available.
