BB Cream Review – Beauty Angel BB Cream

Anyone who follows me on Twitter will have heard me lament western bb creams and pronounce my love of Asian ones. So I figured it was about time I actually reviewed one. So here it is my review of Asian brand Beauty Angel’s BB Cream. I usually stick to brands I know but when I saw that one of my trusted eBay sellers was selling this BB Cream for less than a fiver including postage I thought i’d try it out. The packaging is nothing special but it does the job. The tube makes application clean and easy. Some BB cream tubes are over complicated and a pain to use. Skin 79 is one of my favorite BB Cream brands but its container doesn’t make dispensing the cream very simple especially when you get near the end of the product. The packaging is quite kitsch and cute and that appeals to me. The product itself is richer in consistency than its Western counterparts. BB creams over here are far too watery for my liking. this one gives a good level of coverage but it isn’t full coverage like my Missha or Skin79 one. I’d saycoverage wise that it falls between a tinted moisturiser and a foundation. So it is good for daily wear. Like most BB creams it works to repair the skin as well as containing anti ageing properties. The packaging clearly says white thus implying that it has whitening properties which usually implies it is ashy on my skintone but I’ve had no such problem. It absorbs easily and quickly and worked well at evening out the pigmentation in my skin. It didn’t totally cover my acne like my Illamasqua Skin Base does but then my skin base cost almost 5 times the price. At £4 this product was a bargain and i’ll definitely try it again. What are your favourite BB Cream brands? Have you tried any Asian ones?
