Winter Jam 2014 Recap

Waited in line for six hours at the door in ridiculously cold weather for:

Yep. That's right. I don't regret a second of such shenanigans either. Just the slightest suggestion to my best adventure buddy, and there was no stopping such an outlandish idea.
It was frigid to say the least. We had blankets, scarves, coats, gloves, and even Jimmy Johns delivered after about four hours of holding our spot in line. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these lovelies:

After surviving some mild trampling once the doors were opened, we literally ran to find seats. What a mad house - but still exciting at the same time. We heard new artists and some very well-known artists. We worshiped, we sang, we took pictures and video. To say we had a blast is really putting it mildly.

And I have this new found appreciation for the drummer of Newsboys. He should come with a warning of how awesome he is. Plumb was gorgeously inspiring, and LeCrae had such a spirit filled message of hope and restoration. Colton Dixon was pretty intense, and Love & The Outcome's performance was energetic and, quite frankly, made me want to hug both of them!
Alas, let the photos speak for themselves.
Shows about to begin!
Love & The Outcome. They were brilliant!
Plumb in her album cover hat and sunglasses. She was wonderful. About this time, I called my mom via Tango. She worshiped with us in Ohio. Good times.
LeCrae. Words do not come close. His heart was on his sleeve. His lyrics were woven in truth and sincerity. Was so excited to see him in concert!
And Newsboys. Wow. I mean seriously. Wow. Legendary.
Cindy and I had such a great time!
Even saw Nicole and Emily while we were there!

And here you go. Evidence that: A) I was that close to Newsboys. B) I was too exhausted to wait in line again. C) Even my bangs were tired.
All in all, a spectacular time! I'd do it again in a heart beat. The only thing I would do different - I'd become a citizen of Jam Nation and get in early!
