Fall Vegan Fashion Picks 2019
Who else is excited about fall fashion? I love seeing the creative ways that stores and magazines showcase the latest trends, but I'm always a bit disappointed by all the leather, wool, and this year, feathers. What?! All it takes is a little researching and imagination to put together stylish and fun fall outfits that are cruelty-free.
I pulled some of my favorites for this post, both things that I already own and things that I would like to. Overall trends that I'm seeing is monochromatic looks (think all cream outfits), plaid of all sizes and colors, suits per usual, and fun pops of animal prints. This edit is my take on the trends that is still understated and classic with pieces you could wear for years to come.
Zodiac Sign Earrings
How cute are these zodiac sign earrings? My sign is Pisces and it's fun to share that with my jewelry in a way that is still understated. These stud earrings come in white, rose, and yellow gold. I think these would be great gift for a friend because the personalization shows that you put thought into the gift. Who remembers those zodiac candles that burned down to reveal a piece of jewelry inside? Yeah, these are a lot nicer than that jewelry, lol. It also comes in a necklace and bracelet version.
Angela Roi Hamilton Satchel
I've gone back and forth on whether I should buy this bag. I love the classic shape. It reminds me of something that Audrey Hepburn would have worn. It comes with a shoulder strap but I think that carrying it by the handle is the best way to wear it. It's not a teeny tiny purse like you may be seeing all over Instagram these days, but it still has that structured isosceles trapezoid shape. Angela Roi is one of my favorite vegan handbag designers and definitely worth checking out as their bags are so well-made and long-lasting.
Votch Watch
I love the elegant simplicity of Votch watches and the fact that they are always 100% vegan. This combination of light grey vegan leather with the gold is the perfect compliment for your fall wardrobe. Let me know, do you still wear a watch or is using your phone exclusively more your thing?
Belted Trench Cape
Trench coats are my go-to year round, but especially in fall when the weather is so unpredictable. When looking for a trench coat, it's important to check the materials to make sure it's not a wool-blend and that the buckle isn't made of leather. I love how this trench cape is so classic but also has a twist of something different and fresh.
Polka Dot Sweater
Sweaters are a must-have in any fall wardrobe. I like mine to be warm and comfy but not too oversized so that they can still be layered under a coat. Cream sweaters are very elegant and the polka dots on this one add a bit of flare. This sweater would also pair nicely with a flowy satin skirt.
Rag & Bone Simone Pant
I call these "my perfect black pants" because they really are. I was a little apprehensive to buy them because of the price, but now I'm glad that I did. I wear them at least a few days a week and they are my go-to pants for working on TV shows because they're so comfortable and look really flattering too.
Fisherman Hat
This style of hat, whether you call it fiddler, fisherman, or newsboy, has been popular for the last few years for good reason. It looks good on everybody and goes with casual jeans and t-shirt outfits as well as dressier getups. I personally can't pull off wearing a beanie so this is my hat of choice for cold weather days.
Normal People by Sally Rooney
Okay, so this one is obviously not a fashion item but I had to sneak it in here. Curling up with a good book and a cup of tea is one of my favorite things to do on a chilly fall day. I recently ready Normal People and Conversations With Friends by Sally Rooney, both heartbreaking and can't-put-it-down novels. What are you reading lately?
Rothy's Flats
The #1 fashion item that I get asked about the most when I'm out and about are my Rothy's pointed flats. So many women want to know, are they actually comfortable? Yes, they are! I absolutely love mine and they've held up through many washes. I can't wait to pick up another color this fall. If you shop my link above, you can get $20 off yours.
