Friends In The City

Happy Friday! I’m so excited for this weekend for many reasons, but mainly because one of my best friends is in town!

She’s my first visitor of 2015 and I’m really excited for lots of fun bopping around the city — we have brunch, shopping and some fun with our other friends here on the agenda. One of my favorite things about having guests is that I can play tourist with them while I’m still exploring the city myself.

I’ve been doing a pretty good job holding tight to my budget and am determined to keep it that way, especially in the early part of this year while it’s still super cold out. Some of my cold weather favorites are on sale though, so take advantage while you can! J.Crew has this peacoat on sale for just under 50% off and the same with this puffer vest – a great piece for layering.

If you’re on the hunt for boots, Nordstrom has a ton of sales marked down and on sale. If you love GiGi New York as much as I do, they’re having a winter clearance on some of my favorite bags!
