Easter Egg Balloon Decorations

Easter is just around the corner. And if you’re looking for some really cheap and easy last-minute decorations, I’ve got you covered. These easter egg balloons are simple and customizable and fun. Here’s how you can make your own.

DIY Easter Egg Balloon Decorations – what you need:

  • colorful balloons
  • acrylic paint in a few colors
  • paintbrushes
  • painter’s tape/stencils (optional)
  • yarn or ribbon

Step 1: Blow up the balloons

This one is pretty self explanatory.

Step 2: Paint the balloons

Again, you get the idea. But if you need some ideas, I’d suggest doing some zig zags and/or polka dot patterns to make them really look like classic easter eggs. If you don’t want yours to look super messy like mine then you might want to use some stencils or painter’s tape to keep the lines clean. But messy is always more fun if you ask me.

Step 3: Hang them up

Then once the paint is dry, just take some yarn or other type of string and tie it around the knot of the balloon they hang upside down (that makes them more of an egg shape). Tie them to a beam or curtain rod or something to show them off for your easter guests!

If you want a more in-depth tutorial in video form (which is mostly just me playing with balloons) have at it.
