Monthly Favourites: University!

This month I made my way into the big, scary, world of University. A little cautious; loads of drinking, lots of late nights and 40,000 new young people. Totally terrifying. But with an open mind I’ve spent the last week meeting so many new people and I can honestly say it has been the most refreshing, exciting, week I’ve had in a long time!

All of these gorgeous gems are honestly keeping me feeling at home, happy and very much myself. It’s really important to me to make sure the space I live in reflects the way I want to feel, so without further ado, here are my Monthly Favourites – University style!

Molton Brown – Accord & Cade Candle

All time favourite candle. Smells of home for anyone. I’m probably not supposed to burn this in my room but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do..

Next – ‘Love’ mug

Mugs are a huge university essential, especially in the UK. You know that cliche that we love to drink tea? It’s pretty much a religious act over here, Imma say about 4 cups a day. Anyway, it’s a gorgeous neutral colour and sweet as a nut.

TK Max – Textured bowl

Another gorgeous kitchen piece. Sorry for the face, never modelled bowls before. Probably never will.

Paperchase – ‘Thank-you’ Typography cards

I saw these in a stationary shop and couldn’t not get them. I love stocking up on thank-you cards, there are so many people to thank every day, sometimes we just don’t take a moment to realise it.

Kodak – Old Filters, Manuals & Tins

Classic Ella, found these in an old box at her boyfriends house and couldn’t resist them. The colours, the old school packaging. They have no absolutely no purpose, but they look beautiful on a shelf!

Paperchase – Large Planner

Blank pages, organisation tabs and a brown paper front. Almost better than a bar of dark chocolate. (Someone pass me a hair brush..)

Read or Dead – Black, leather, fluffy, dessert boots

The sweetest and warmest boots I’ve ever owned. A visually appeasing Ugg Boot. Finally.

Indian Market – Thatched Wallet.

There is something about this kind of style that appeals to me so much. The thatched look; so home made, so special, so one-of-a-kind. I am a sucker for texture, I love to be able to really feel how something was made even when just looking at it. Bring on Autumn and more of this.
