Chocolate Molten Lava Cakes Video

I get a double whammy this year. Not only is it Mother’s Day on May 10th, but it is also my birthday. Most of my life it was fine, even special getting to share it with my Mom, but now that I’m a mom it’s sort of like being born on Christmas. I would like to say I don’t need double the love and fun, but let’s get real. I want it all! Homemade gifts, maybe breakfast in bed, a peaceful hour or so to catch up on my favorite magazines and hopefully lots of hugs and kisses from Kenya, Chloe and my hubby.

If we could take it even one step further I would want one of my all time weaknesses, Chocolate Molten Lava Cakes. In order to help my husband and kids I created this quick Chocolate Molten Lava Cakes Video to show them a few quick steps to making them on their own. Nothing like a video to spell it out.

Dessert doesn’t need to be complicated on Mother’s day. With a few simply decadent ingredients like chocolate, sugar and butter (seriously what else do you need in life) you can create an irresistible dessert to surprise mom. The best part is that they’re made in individual ramekins so everyone gets their own. Trust me, you want to share this recipe. Good news, it’s easy to stick a candle in to blow out and make tons of wishes. I know it sounds dorky, but all of my wishes have come true!
